  If I could give this pharmacy 0 I would! I have been a Rite aid customer for years. a few months ago, my local rite aid was closed, I was given no warning that my monthly medicines would be transferred to a new rite aid, or the contact info for them. I had to find out when my prescriptions lapsed. Turns out, in January my work changed the way that my insurance runs prescriptions, so when they went to verify my script and it didn't work they just stopped caring. I ended up having to call my insurance to call this pharmacy to explain that my policy was current and they just needed to run their claim differently. THEN I thought, ok, benefit of a doubt, and asked when I finally got my script that it would be set up for automatic refill, and that the prescription was still current and didn't need renewed. They said I was "all good." (Also, of note, I asked to speak with a manager, none were "available" and no one could give me any contact information to follow up with the management team.) So now this month, again, when I was waiting for my next refill, it didn't come! I tried calling in, was put on hold, and never answered after 5 minutes. So, I called CVS. within an 30 minutes CVS called me back with a detailed description that my prescription lapsed and I needed a new order...great, I asked that of rite aid last month. they lied to my face! no i'm out of my medicine. Don't worry, CVS voluntarily called my doctor to assist in straightening this mess out. While all rite aid could do was not even answer their phones! I am livid and beyond upset at how poorly this particular rite aid has handled my care. I am sad to say they have lost my business...but happy to report that CVS inside the local target is on point so far. please, give them your business! Not this sorry excuse of a Rite Aid pharmacy.
